04.05.06
Thursday morning & you'll never believe it.. We're BLOODY
late, AGAIN!! Start with dDub & No Smoke, a good long track
so Gareth gets time to make his bed.. Next Policeman & Planes
by H.A.D., a great track part from those damm unicorns..
Reminder to get your music tracks into New Zealand On Airfor $5000
funding to record, talk about our project, new band called "Commercial
Radio" & we'll see if those music nazis won't give us the bloody
money.. Play Ironman by Ammp, but stop it after 25 seconds cause
it's crap (even if NZ On Air) did fund the bastards..
Get into something decent, Tantrum by Mrs Children.. Then into
the State Cinema 6 movie review, more crap plaing more often more after
the school holidays...Break The Code by Stainless, a new track for me
(musta been away that Panel day).. Apparently it got 3 stars, but we my
have to look at our rankings cause it's pretty innocuous, well i reckin it is..
Mention A Night For Amelia, next Thursday to raise funds for her going
to the Czech Republic as an exchange student, $15 a ticket at Fairfield
House, go along & support a good cause... Also Vicki's Originals
opens in town tonight, should be a goodie.. White Top Cadillac by
a Thousand Curves is next up, just for Jo..
A bit more talking about funding... Finish off with Master Pilot &
their fantastic Lyrical Technicians.. Want more listen to 107.5
for all the little bits that made this show great..
Thursday - the perfect day to sellout..
03.05.06
Wednesday morning & bloody hell we're running late... First
up was Insurgent Few by Portal, selected purely because it's nearly 10
minutes long.. Get organised, make apologies & then into a
Master Pilot track, forgot which 1, but a goody, then Angry Man
by someone else.. Then Toshida and Akido by Mifune..
World news, footy review Englands chances of the World Cup with Wayne
Rooney injured.. Korean Man covers himself with over 170,000 bees
in protest to some land invasion or something..

on the fact that maybe they should change there name & that the
Artic Monkeys have just released an EP of new material..Jetliner, by
the cruisey The Vigilantes is next up.. Music industry show greed
by wanting to put up music prices on iTunes, so we thank god for
unsigned radio stations like, ohhh US.. Play
Deluxe with 48 Hours To Hell...
Special Rocky Horror Show being put on at the Royal Theatre, voted the
most enjoyable experience of the last 50 years, go Richard
O'Brien.. Last track & off to work, make it the best
wednesday you'll ever have this week..
02.05.06
Tuesday morning, The Panel day, & more amazingly we start on
time... Break the Code by Stainless from Denmark is the 1st up, 3 star
& it stays in theplaylist..
Next up Heath selects Buckdog playing Evil Ruler.. As Heath says may as
well begin with some pain.... Ends up with a 2 star from the
panel.. After a BIG debate on what's music..
Sleepy by Curvature is next, a nice melodic instrumental... Quick
religious talk, comes up with a 3 star courtesy of Heath & Gareth,
I only gave it a 2.. Anna Wise is next up with Under Your Nose, a
bit of female pop that doesn' quite deliver, but still ends up with a safe-zone 3 star rating..
A Thousand Curves are next up with White Top Cadillac.... good ol no
apology rock n roll track... ends up with another 3 star, even though
Heath detests it...
Wry next up with Your Island (featuring Kate).. fantastic vocals, lotsa
weird timing & changes... First 4 star of the day...
Then it's The Title by The Author, kinda beatnik poetry to music.. but
it ends up with a 2 star cause it's a bit too cliched, & even the
rating causes a heart-felt arguement - but still causes Jo to lose her
knickers..
Next Track In The Dark by Poop Your Pants (interestin band name)...
This trak weighs in with 4 stars, good track.. Last up half a
song titled Policeman & Planes by H.A.D., ends up with the safe 3
star ranking...
Have a fab Tuesday....
01.05.06
